The vision for Cerro Grande Estates is simple... To build a first quality residential community that is sustainable, secure, ecologically sound, and equestrian focused. We feature home sites which are beautiful, private, integrated into a tight knit community, and a short drive to the most vibrant communities on the Costa Rican Pacific Coast.

Cerro Grande was envisioned by two San Diego families, who fell in love with the country, its people, and its lifestyle so much they relocated to Costa Rica full time in 2004. These are the backgrounds of these two families which make up the four owners, founders, and operating partners:

Bruce and Cheryl McKillican are successful entrepreneurs, real estate investors, and developers as well as active in improving the community. Bruce holds a bachelors degree as well as a Doctor of Chiropractic degree. Cheryl holds a B.A. in Public Administration. Over the years, they have founded and built several successful companies including multiple real estate ventures, a tourism company, and a chiropractic practice in California. They have owned and operated several real estate developments across the U.S. and Central America. They have a passion for excellence and a strong will to succeed.

John and Nancy Bridges are experienced business professionals who have had a strong interest for real estate investing and development since 1989. John holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and Nancy holds a B.A. in Finance as well as earning a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license in California in 1989. John’s career history includes a broad range of marketing and senior management positions in variety of companies from start ups to over a billion dollar in revenue. Nancy’s career includes several positions in Bank Auditing, Financial Accounting Management, and Chief Finanicial Officer. Both are well traveled giving them a high appreciation for all the blessings the Pacific Coast of Costa Rica offers as well as an strong understanding of what makes a great community.

These four partners and the team of professionals who have joined them make Cerro Grande Estates very well positioned to fulfill and exceed this vision.
